Perfect for a work trip
It has all the facilities one can expect, at a good standard. Kind staff. Good breakfast that exceeded my expectations with a variety of foods, including healthier options such as turkey bacon among a lot of vegetables, eggs, etc, as well as nice, sweet treats, breads, and so on.
The walk from the railway station felt kinda long, but is not unmanagable unless you carry a lot of luggage. Great location for reaching Bislett stadium though.

What was the highlight of Scandic Holberg
Good
Large room that had a number of amenities available like tea and coffee facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with a number of options including separate gluten free and dairy free alternatives.
Getting into the hotel was difficult due to only having one crossing on one side of the road, especially difficult in the snow as it was not gritted. Wood surfaces in the room were marked and the plugs were in strange places away from the bed.
